Kintari experience

This is a 3 days trip that let you have a great cultural exchange with Arhuaco people, enrich your knowns about coffee, all while you enjoy the most beautiful landscapes and rivers.

 

Day 1:

. Meeting with Kintari's guide

. Destination 1: Kankawarwa, indigenous settlement

. Destination 2: Kintari hostal

. Accommodation

. Tour around: you'll have the opportunity to see farm animals and crops, specially coffee, from which you will learn their extraction process.

 

Day 2:

. Trekking: 3.9km downhill to natural wells, going from 1083 masl to 476 masl

. Return to the hostal

. Experience time to socialize

 

Day 3:

. Breakfast

. Trip back to meeting point

Nabusimake

Which means "where the sun rises". Is the Arhuaco's capital city. A trip full of natural contact, water springs, birds, ancient forest and cultural exchange.

 

Day 1:

. Meeting with Kintari's guide

. Arrive to Kintari hostal

. Coffee tour in the hostal

. Arrive to El 50 village

. Accommodation

. Talk: general information about the activities

 

Day 2:

. Trekking: El 50 - Windiwa

. Travel time: 8 hours Aprox

. Terrain: downhill/flat. Path in excellent condition.

. Arrive to Windiwa

. Accomodation

. Tour by surroundings

 

Day 3

. Trekking: Windiwa - Nabusimake

. Travel time: 8 hours Aprox

. Terrain: uphill/downhill, uphill the most. Path in excellent condition.

. Arrive to Nabusimake

. Accommodation

. Tour by surroundings

 

Day 4

. Tour by main town

. Tour by surroundings

. Trip back to agreed point

Golden paths

This is a 2 days eco-walk.

The trip heads to Pick at the beginning of la Guajira. There you can enjoy of landscapes formed by mountains kissing the sea, and have a cultural exchange with Kogui culture.

 

Day 1

. Meet with Kintari's guide

. Arrive to Palomino

. Trekking: Palomino - Seviaka

. Travel time: about 1 hour, uphill, path in excellent condition.

. Trekking back to Palomino.

 

Day 2

. Palomino tour (tubbing/sea)

. Travel back to agreed place

We recommend...

You'll be at nature's whims, so this recommendations will make your experience more comfortable: 

 

. Bring appropriate shoes (like mountain boots, closed waterproof shoes).

. Bring a handbag with all the items that you're going to use in the trails.

. Bring your special medicine in case you need it. Let us know about any special case of disease.

. Don't bring unnecessary items. Each gram of weight counts.

. Bring warm clothes, that covers all your body.

. Bring waterproof jacket/poncho.

. Bring bug repellent.

. Bring sunblock

. Bring a tent (it's never too much)
